Greater Buffalo All-American City Committee honored Univera Healthcare’s Fun 2B Fit initiative with a Civic Empowerment Award. The awards program illustrates civic partnerships and accomplishments enhancing the quality of life in the Erie and Niagara County Region.

Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX) honored Univera Healthcare’s Fun 2B Fit informational video, media kit and news writing samples. The APEX Awards program recognizes excellence in publication work by professional communicators and is based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.

The MarCom Creative Awards honored Univera Healthcare with a Gold Award for its news release on a partnership with Wegmans to combat childhood obesity and an Honorable Mention for the Univera Healthcare Fun 2B Fit Informational Video. The MarCom Creative Awards is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
November 2006
The Video Communicator Awards honored Univera Healthcare’s Fun 2B Fit Informational Video with an Award of Distinction. The competition recognizes projects that exceed industry standards in production, or communication skills.

The Print Communicator Awards honored Univera Healthcare’s Fun 2B Fit sales testimonial piece and informational DVD with an Honorable Mention. The competition recognizes outstanding work in the communication field.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards. The awards recognize outstanding work and creative inspiration. Univera Healthcare won a GOLD award for the Fun2BFit Program in the Health Promotions category.
April 2008
The Healthcare Advertising Awards recognize a select number of entries for the outstanding creativity exemplified in their advertising. These entries are given the BEST OF SHOW designation. Out of 4,400 entries, only 16 were given this designation including, Univera Healthcare's Fun2BFit program.

Public Relations Society of America presented a gold Excalibur Award to Univera Healthcare’s Fun 2B Fit program for outstanding efforts in a community relations project. The Fun 2B Fit parent informational piece received a bronze and an article entitled “Healthy Options on the Lunch Line” received a gold award.
May 2008
America’s Health Insurance Plans honored Univera Healthcare with its Community Leadership award for the Fun 2B Fit program in the Large/Affiliated category. The Fun 2B Fit program was named an exemplary model of health plan leadership and community partnership that could be emulated in communities across the nation.
